Future research - LCVT

Prof. Dr. Andreas Jess, Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bayreuth, in the future of his science, ethics and the question of how much earth needs man. Only available in german language.
Graduates in demand, which may be part of a diploma or PhD thesis in the context of an industrial cooperation are want to deal with various problems of chemical engineering. If you are interested please contact us immediately to get information about current offers.
Together with Peter Wasserscheid from the chair of chemical reaction engineering at the university of Erlangen/Nuremberg Andreas Jess published the textbook "Chemical technology - An Integrated Textbook" in february 2013.

Future research

In our extensive research, the analysis is always in the foreground. We are often asked by companies and industry as a scientific partner to research work in the field of reaction engineering, kinetics and catalysis, chemistry and technology of gas, petroleum and coal / biomass, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and new materials like carbon-nanomatrial or ionic liquids. Besides the possible optimization of chemical processes already recognized, new ways and methods are reviewed in depth and developed. On the basis of appropriate studies in the laboratory scale, the basic data are obtained that allow a scale-up to the industrial scale.

Contract research for us is of course also an offer that we not only as chair of chemical engineering answer - it depends always on our PhD-students, diplomats and students and are often associated with contract extension over several years.
