On November 20-21, 2025, the Bioenergy Status Conference took place in Leipzig, bringing together dedicated researchers, forward-looking companies, and diverse perspecitves on the future of bioenergy. The goal of the conference was to strengthen the energy system through bioenergy, accelerate the energy transition, and advance the circular economy.

Representing our team were Dr. Andy Gradel (BtX Energy GmbH) and Simon Kolb, M.Sc. (University Bayreuth, Chair of Chemical Engineering), who co-presented a talk titled "Liquid Fuels from Biomass Using Shift Reacotrs for Biogenic Gases."
